Experience Event Planning

Graduating from Hollins University with aspirations of law school, Brittany’s passion for exceptional service and hospitality overruled that, thus the birth of Experience Event Planning.

She began her career co-owning a restaurant in Florida, building the off-site catering business then years later moved back to St. Simons Island becoming the Catering Manager of a renown restaurant group. Simultaneously, Brittany was the Director of the St. Simons Food & Spirits Festival, learning best practices and gaining experience in full scale event planning and production.

She moved to the Brunswick- Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce as the Director of Special Events and Communications before marrying and moving to St. Louis, Missouri. There she became the Assistant Director of Club Events at the Missouri Athletic Club. With children in the picture, she once again returned to the Golden Isles where she is focusing growing her own business and enriching the community. She now specializes in weddings, community and charity events and is the founder and director of the Southern Bounty Festival.

As a mother of 4 young children and an active member of the community, Brittany's heart is naturally inclined to do any and everything she possibly can to protect our most vulnerable and enhance the resources available to them. The mission, vision and work of Safe Harbor and its supporters is vital to future generations. It gives hope and light in otherwise dark and sad situations. It mimics the love that Christ asked His followers to display and she prays that this campaign will not only educate the community on the various programs of Safe Harbor, but that it will reach their hearts and most importantly, it will move them to action!
