Champion for Children- Megan Torello

Megan Torello is a local artist on a mission to spread joy and color throughout the community. With every splash of color, Megan aims to infuse our environment and hearts with vibrancy and beauty. For Megan, art is more than a medium of expression, it’s a powerful tool for building community and connecting people through shared visual experiences. You may have seen Megan’s colorful murals in Brunswick on Gloucester, Albany, and Union Streets, or on St Simons at The Collective Salon, Surcheros, Chile Peppers, Three Little Birds, The Nest or others. Megan has also designed and created murals for MorningStar Children & Family Services, Light of Hope Learning Center, Southeast Georgia Health System and many other businesses and private residences on Sea Island, Brunswick and St Simons Island. Safe Harbor’s Champions for Children is a spirited contest fostering innovation and collaboration for the most worthy cause- our community’s children. Each dollar donated to Megan’s campaign is a “vote” for her campaign but more importantly, each dollar goes directly to Safe Harbor to provide essential resources and opportunities for the children. Each dollar also sends a message of solidarity and care to those who need it most!
